Worst of all, Apple told him that it couldn’t be repaired- end of story. He was also concerned about his valuable data on the “blank” drive. This surprised the customer, who’d bought it brand new, and had never had it fixed (or even opened) previously. Nice, blazing fast 3.1 GHz Core i5 processor as you’d expect, 8 GB of RAM, Radeon graphics, 1 TB SATA hard drive, FaceTime HD camera… the list goes on, but we have to stop there!Īnyway, the customer in question had already taken this to the Apple Store who made some unusual claims, including that some screws were missing inside (implying that it had been previously repaired) and that the hard drive was blank.
